Lincoln People’s City Mission’s 14th Annual Day Without Shoes Event

With the help and coordination of our Law Clerk, Kate Taylor, ACW LAW and Bob Bennie Wealth Management combined efforts to support the Lincoln People’s City Mission’s 14th Annual Day Without Shoes event.

The Lincoln People’s City Mission is a local organization that helps the homeless and impoverished by serving their needs and advocating their cause to the community. This year, People’s City Mission had a goal of giving every struggling family in Lincoln a pair of shoes, as about 20% of children in Lincoln live in poverty, and over 2,800 people are homeless each night. Donated shoes in wearable condition were given directly to those in need, while shoes that were not in great condition were recycled, with the money collected and then donated back to Lincoln People’s City Mission.

ACW LAW and Bob Bennie Wealth Management were happy to be a part of this annual event to help raise awareness for this cause, which shows the positive impact a nice pair of shoes can have on a person’s life.  We are proud to say our teams came together to donate 56 pairs of new and used shoes to Lincoln People’s City Mission!
