ACW LAW Celebrates Our Rise Award Winner

People clapping hands together in celebration

Ashton E. Koch, a law clerk who has accepted a position with the firm as an attorney upon being sworn in, has been selected to receive the Nebraska State Bar Association Rise Award at the Association's Annual Meeting this October.

The Rise Award is presented annually to law students from each Nebraska based law school in recognition of their exemplary dedication to, and contributions in support of, programs sponsored by the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation throughout their law school careers. Ashton's nominator highlighted her extensive service, including her work as an intern for the Volunteer Lawyers Project during her undergraduate career, her volunteer contributions to the Tenant Assistance Project by preparing eviction defense packets while in law school, and her successful efforts to designate the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation as a recipient of the Nebraska Law Women's Law Caucus annual auction proceeds.
